Finally, after much hard work, we\’re ready to open our doors to the South-End, Roxbury neighborhood!

A little bit about ourselves: we are three guys who met because of CrossFit, where we all became close friends, thanks to the CrossFit community. While we each come from different fitness journeys, we share a passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals. We decided to take on this passion of valuing health today for the sake of a healthier tomorrow, by opening our own gym where we can apply our definition of a well structured and balanced fitness program to others.

We believe that having an inclusive and supportive community, helps us not only build a healthy lifestyle, but also helps build good morals that allow everyone to take ownership of their lives, enabling long term health progress.

Classes are set to begin on October 1st and to celebrate, we’re running a great introductory promotion to our founding members! To learn more, contact us using the following form , or send an email to info@r3vivefitness.com.

Memberships are limited, so act fast on reserving your spot with us! Feel free to also come by and check out our facility. We can\’t wait to meet you all and officially launch our program, all while building our own community! Be sure to check out our scheduled classes and open gym times. You can also view our individual bios ahead of time to get to know the coaches that will be leading you through your classes!

More information on events will be coming your way, so keep your eye on our blog and social media pages ( Facebook and Instagram ) for up to date info.

We\’re also planning our grand opening event for Saturday, October 12th, where we plan on celebrating our launch and who knows, maybe we’ll workout!

Hey R3VIVE Athletes, Our next programming cycle runs from September 15th to November 7th. It's an 8-week cycle that will continue to see strength progression carrying from what we did last cycle in Functional fitness. While Pump will begin working unilateral strength progressions. Functional Fitness: This cycle will continue our progression from the skill and lifts from last cycle, while trying to integrate them into more of our conditioning. We will do this by focusing on different portions of the lifts during our strength portion then performing smaller sets of gymnastic skills in our conditioning. You will also see conditioning that is purely focused on our aerobic capacity and working mainly on monostructural elements, such as running, rowing and biking. Build: This A-B week cycle is designed to build foundational strength through consistent progression, with a strong focus on Back Squats and Strict Presses, including variations for balanced weekly training. Conditioning will have some longer aerobic pieces and begin to include more skills like strict Toes-to-Bar, and Pull-ups from last cycle. See the chart below for details.

Our next programming cycle runs from July 12th to September 12th. It's an 8-week cycle, so it's a bit shorter than the last one. We'll be bringing back some Olympic lifts and continuing with the A-B week progressions. The post Functional Fitness Training Block: Resurgence Cycle appeared first on R3VIVE FITNESS.

As we start our Fall cycle, we're embracing a more structured approach to our strength training. Mondays will focus on squats, Tuesdays on upper pulling and gymnastic skills, Wednesdays on pressing, and Fridays on the hinge and posterior chain. Let's gear up for progress this season!
