Introducing our Gym M.O.M. (Member of the Month) for July 2026 … Kristen!
We're excited to celebrate Kristen as our Member of the Month! Kristen started at R3VIVE when she wanted to do strength training but didn't want to plan her workouts - making group classes the perfect solution for her. You can find her in classes that include box jump overs and squats, and working on her double unders - where she has made huge improvements. We love having Kristen in class and having her part of the R3VIVE community.

What made you decide to start functional fitness training?
I wanted to do strength training but didn’t want to have to think about/plan my workouts. I love being able to just show up and also have a group of people around to encourage me to do things I don’t like as much (like cardio hahaha)
Are you a student/working professional/both? What do you do for a living?
I am a pediatric hospitalist, so I’m a pediatrician who works exclusively in the hospital. I work at two community hospitals and take care of kids who need to stay overnight in the hospital, care for babies just after birth and attend deliveries when a pediatrician is needed.
What are your hobbies/interests outside of the gym?
I love to read, cook and spend time outside with my husband!
What are some of your favorite movements?
Box jump overs, squats
What are your least favorite movements?
Burpees, bike
What movement do you want to improve at?
Double unders - getting better but lots of room for improvement
What advice do you have for someone considering our gym?
Do it! If you want a supportive community who will push you and creates lots of room for growth wherever you are starting from then this is the gym for you!

I discovered I like strength training after doing lots of it while playing softball in college
